Guests
Invite teammates to view your dashboard, overlay, and Discord alerts without paying themselves — your subscription covers them.
A subscriber's teammates can use the dashboard, the overlay, and Discord alerts for that paired server without paying themselves — the owner's subscription covers them. Each tier sets a maximum guest count per server:
| Plan | Guests per server |
|---|---|
| Scout | not available |
| Operator | available |
| Overlord | available |
See Plans for exact numbers and the rest of the feature matrix.
Adding guests
Two ways:
- Manual. Open Guests, click Invite, paste your teammate's Steam ID or Steam profile URL. They get a notification on their dashboard the next time they log in.
- Auto from team roster. Toggle "Auto-add guests from in-game team" in Settings and anyone who's on your Rust+ team is offered guest access automatically. They still have to accept.
What guests can see
Everything the owner sees for that server — live map, devices, alarm timeline, team roster, intel, shop watch, heatmaps. They cannot:
- Edit watcher / notification settings.
- Add or remove other guests.
- Pair new servers.
- Change the custom command on a Smart Switch.
Removing guests
The owner can revoke at any time from the Guests page. The guest immediately loses dashboard, overlay, and Discord alert access for that server (other servers they own or are guests of are unaffected).
