In-game overlay

Rust Pulse Arcade (Beta)

A small bundle of mini-games tucked inside the overlay's expanded view — for the queue, the wipe-day wait, or when you're at base watching the door.

Beta. The overlay's expanded view has a Games tab containing a small bundle of mini-games for when you're stuck at base, waiting in a server queue, or just bored between raid windows.

What's in there

A growing list of mini-games. Current bundle includes:

  • Tetris
  • Pacman
  • Doom Lite
  • Tower Defense
  • Worms
  • Pool
  • Darts
  • Chess
  • Golf
  • Platformer
  • Fighter / Arena
  • Wasteland Strike (top-down arcade shooter)

The lobby screen lets you pick any of them. Some have local high-score tables that persist between launches.

Why it's here

The overlay is a perfect second-screen surface — you've already got it open, you're already paired. Rather than alt-tabbing to a browser, you can stay in Rust's window and play something light while you wait for Cargo to spawn or a teammate to log on.

"Beta" means…

  • The mini-games are written for fun. Bugs happen. We'll fix gameplay issues but won't always treat them with the same urgency as core features.
  • The bundle changes between releases — games may be added, removed, or tweaked.

If a game breaks badly, drop it in /ticket in the support Discord with the game name and what went wrong.
