Always-online bot
Premium. Keeps the relay connected to your server even when nobody from your team is logged in, so raid alerts and event pings still fire while you sleep.
By default, Rust Pulse only keeps the live Rust+ connection open while at least one team member is in-game (the same way the mobile app works). The always-online bot is a premium opt-in that keeps the connection running even when nobody is logged in.
Once enabled:
- Smart Alarm raid alerts still fire while you sleep.
- World event pings (Cargo, Heli, Chinook, Oil Rig, Convoy, Vendor, Deep Sea) still flow into Discord and phone push.
- The dashboard map keeps animating world events through the night.
!commandstyped by a teammate who logs in mid-night still answer.
Why this is premium
Holding a Rust+ socket open per paired server costs us infrastructure, so the always-online slot is gated behind Operator and Overlord plans. See Plans & pricing.
How it stays singleton
Across the always-on infrastructure, exactly one server-side instance holds the always-online connection for each paired server at a time. If that instance restarts or moves, another seamlessly takes over — the only thing you'll see is a brief gap on the dashboard's live map and a reconnect indicator in the corner.

Always-online is per-server. Flip it on (or off) from Settings on each paired server you want covered.
