Always-online bot
Keeps the relay connected so raid pings fire even when nobody on the team is logged in.
Premium — Operator and Overlord only.
Normally the relay disconnects from Rust+ when nobody on the team is online (to save Facepunch's rate-limit budget). That means a raid alarm at 4am while you're asleep does nothing — nobody's listening.
Always-online changes the behaviour: the relay keeps its Rust+ connection alive 24/7. Raid alarms still fire, Discord pings still fire, mobile push still fires.
Enable it
Settings → Always-online bot → toggle on per paired server. Each server is independent.
Resource cost
Each always-online server holds one persistent Rust+ socket against your daily budget. Facepunch's rate-limit is per-Steam-ID, not per-server, so 10 always-online servers cost the same as 1. The bot self-throttles its message rate so we don't exhaust the limit on its own.
When it auto-pauses
The bot pauses if:
- Rust+ rejects the connection 5 times in a row (usually means Facepunch is doing maintenance).
- The server hasn't responded in 30 minutes (usually means it's down for a wipe).
It auto-resumes on the next successful health probe.
