World event map markers
Cargo, Heli, Chinook, locked crates, Convoy, Vendor, Airdrops, and Oil Rig activity all flow through the same event-marker watcher.
The Rust+ map exposes a stream of moving markers — Cargo Ship, Patrol Helicopter, Chinook, locked crates, Armed Convoys, Travelling Vendors, Airdrops, Oil Rig events. Rust Pulse turns that raw stream into:
- Live map markers on the dashboard and overlay (with type-specific icons and colors).
- Timeline entries that record when each event appeared, where, and when it left.
- Optional team-chat pings — e.g. "Cargo Ship appeared at H4.", "Patrol Helicopter left the map. Last seen at D7."
- Optional Discord posts in your event channel.
- Optional mobile pushes.
Per-event toggles
Each event family has its own enable toggle in Settings. You can have Cargo chat alerts on but Convoy off, or Chinook on phone push but not in chat. The dashboard map and timeline always show every type — toggles only affect the outbound notifications.
Cooldowns
The bot applies a short cooldown per event family (default 60 seconds) so a marker that flickers on and off doesn't spam chat. Convoy uses a 90-second cooldown by default; both are tunable in Settings.
Harbour vs open-water for Cargo
The Cargo watcher recognises the two harbours and switches its chat copy from movement-tracking ("Cargo moved to D5.") to harbour-tracking ("Cargo Ship is at Large Harbour D2.") when it docks. When Cargo pushes off again the bot announces the new direction.
