Returns the current Chinook and locked-crate state:

  • Chinook in transit — current grid + last-known direction.
  • Hovering over a monument — the monument name (used by the Oil Rig tracker even on modded servers that rename markers).
  • Crate dropped — the drop grid and approximate unlock time.

Why it doesn't trust the marker label

Rust Pulse uses the Chinook's hover behavior (sustained position over a monument), not the Rust+ marker label, to detect Oil Rig vs random monument vs crate-drop. That's deliberate — modded servers rename markers all the time, and label-only detection fails on those servers. See Oil Rig tracker.
